German for Beginners (A2)

Build confidence, expand vocabulary, and communicate more independently in German

This course is designed for students who already have basic knowledge of German and want to continue their learning journey at the A2 level. Learners strengthen their communication skills and gain confidence in everyday conversations.

By the end of the course, students will be able to understand and use frequently used expressions, describe their environment, and communicate in common daily situations.

The course follows the official CEFR A2 level and focuses on practical language use, accuracy, and fluency in speaking, listening, reading, and writing.

Why continue with German at A2 level?

  • Move from basic phrases to meaningful conversations
  • Understand and apply more structured grammar rules
  • Expand vocabulary to cover daily life, hobbies, travel, and school topics
  • Gain confidence through speaking, listening, and role-play exercises

At this level, students start to express opinions, talk about past experiences, and understand simple written and spoken texts.

Language skills developed in this course

  • Speaking: short conversations, descriptions, and role-play situations
  • Listening: understanding everyday dialogues, announcements, and instructions
  • Reading: short texts, emails, and simple stories
